“Natural Swimming Ponds & Dolce Vita“is the motto of the 5th International Convention 2009. The core-theme of this convention, Swimming Ponds, is elaborated through well-founded contributions in form of lectures.
It is one of the goals to give the latest news in the field of construction-techniques and biological water-cleaning.

With the Italian term “Dolce vita” we want to put attention on the multitude of factors, on a psychological-emotional level, which make a bio-pond indispensable for its users and owners. Renowned Designers give insights into their working methods so that the participants get ideas and impulses for their own work.

Each day of the convention will be dedicated a special subject:
- o
n Tuesday we will talk about “Design and Wellness”
- on Wednesday about “Gentle Technology” and
- on Tuesday there will be everything about “Water quality and future trends”.

The three days of convention will be structured as follows:
In the mornings there are offered between 12 and 14 lectures about the subjects further described.
In the afternoons there are programmed different Workshops, in which some of the most interesting lectures of the morning will be taken up again and deepened.

Also other themes, which better can be discussed in a small and active group, will be offered. The big advantage of this kind of Workshops is, that just a few hours after the lectures in the morning, when the subjects are still fresh in mind, the participants have the possibility to ask questions and exchange opinions with the speaker and the other participants.

On the third and last convention-afternoon there are planned 3 excursions to different public and private Biological swimming-pools and Hotelplants in the near and far surroundings of Merano.
